Floral patterns seem to be one of the biggest trends these days, but the full blown floral patterns just seem too trendy and unmasculine to me. Suffice it to say it’s highly unlikely that floral patterns will be making much of an appearance in my wardrobe. However, a subtle floral print that’s a little more classic and less trendy is something I might consider, like the pattern on the Mini Jacquard Navy Floral & Crimson Plaid Bow Tie by General Knot & Co. ($68).
Like most General Knot & Co. bow ties, this one is reversible. One side features the aforementioned subtle floral pattern, a navy blue background with repeating rose details. The other side features a warm, rich crimson plaid. Both fabrics seem like they were meant for each other and look great with the other providing contrast on the knot. The crimson in the plaid even matches the color in the flower. It’s a great looking bow tie that will pair well with a white oxford and can offer a subtle nod at trends while maintaining your own style.
